I am VERY interested in battery life. So far it can get trough about 2 hours of gaming in multiplayer via bluetooth(well, my iPhone has about 50% after the same time). I was wondering if 4.1 is faster/better than 3.1.2. I highly doubt it, but hey, it's possible.
UPDATE: OK, so I decided to go for it. I'll post the results tomorrow evening. I'm curious about the battery life, now it's not even jailbroken.

Depends on what stuff is running, if you have themes etc it will not last longer etc etc

No themes, just battery percentage thing. I don't use themes, I like it stock(before 4.0 I only used custom background and dock)

I'm interested in performance. My 2g is really slow sometimes. Granted, I've never tried anything besides 4.0 (brand new touch. We were unaware about the 2nd gen 8gb issue)
