Hey all. Since upgrading to 4.1 I have noticed my iPod will no longer automatically connect to an ad-hoc network that my phone creates to share it's network connection. This has been verified on a jailbroken 3rd gen running 4.1 and also a brand new non jailbroken 4th gen touch, so it's not really a jailbreak issue.

It does remember the network's password it just won't connect until I go into settings and re-select the network. Bit of a pain!

    Has anyone else noticed this?

Hit the little arrow next to the SSID. Turn on Autoconnect (or something similar. Don't know the string exactly).

Aha! Brilliant. It's Auto-Join and I feel like a bit of an idiot now
