Looking to downgrade my iPod Touch 2g MC model to either 3.1.3 or 3.1.2. I have no SHSH's

I can downgrade to 4.0 via DFU, but when I try to downgrade to either of the 3 firmwares, I get the 3194 error?

    Anyway to bypass this?

There have been rumors that Apple is still signing restores to 3.1.2 and 3.1.3
but the 3194 is proof otherwise.
The 3194 error means apple will not authorize the restore to that firmware. If you had the SHSH blobs you could use tinyumbrella to circumvent this problem. But you dont.

    So you cant downgrade. Sorry

4.1 is not that bad. Just dont multitask, your device isnt built for it.
And the greenpoison jailbreak is much more stable then limerain.
Check my sig if your interested.

    Good luck

Not multitasking, hell at the moment I'm not even jailbroken.

4.1 just kills my battery life...

Its not the firmware or the jailbreak. Its what you do.

Im on 4.1 with a 2GMC, I get 5 hours of battery gaming.

Gotta power cycle that battery to keep the electrons moving.

Multitasking doesn't have a huge battery impact, it's backgrounds that does

    I beg to differ.

Some firmwares, such as 4.1 do eat up your battery life compared to previous versions such as 3.1.3. Anyone else finds this?
