3rd party video player app?

    are there any 3rd party video players that i could hide in customize and bring out when i wanted? i dont want to hide the main video icon i want two diffent video players on my touch. or is there a way to hide certain videos and watch them when i unhide them?

    that is exactly what i wanted but didnt know if i would get in trouble for saying that. back to the question, anyone know?

    anyway, nah, im pretty sure there isn't a 3rd party player, or a way to hide/unhide videos. there's been many of these threads to be honest, noones found a way so far. use the search and see what other people have said in their attempts for secret porn perfection

    Lol I don't want one for hiding pr0nz, but I am interested in getting a media player that'll do things from the FS instead of the library. Haven't checked the sources in a few weeks tho, gonna be doing that tonight.

    FYI though if in February when the SDK is supposed to be released last I heard, VLC said they'd look into making a port for iPod/Phone, and that'd do what I (and you, for your "purposes") need.

    is there any way to store vids in the file system and then watch em with squid or finder?

    That's what I'm at, there's no app that can read them. We'd either need that app to be coded, or find a way to inject (and in your case also remove) the files into the iPod's library through an app.

    there MUST be some type of flash player embedded in the ipod because youtube in safari says u need flash player but youtube on the ipod works

    <sigh> We've been down this road before. The videos on the iPod Touch YouTube viewer are streaming MP4... No Flash exists...
