Is there a 3rd party software to format the iPhone? Something that detects it even when storage mode isn't available (only accessible VIA iTunes?)

PS: Don't ask me to use iTunes, or go on DFU mode, as my Power/Lock button is broken and my phone asks me to enter an AT&T SIM.

    Thank you.

You can go into Recovery mode by holding the HOME button as soon as it powers on. If you are looking to get it to restart, try resetting the network settings under SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> RESET

or you can let the battery drain, and then plug it into the computer to get it to power on. From there, hold the HOME button until the recovery screen pops up. Then restore it in iTunes.

Since you have a non working power button, you should try activating it with a friend's AT&T SIM or a phonebook SIM, then you can jailbreak it with spirit or star, because they do not require DFU mode.

Unfortunately where I live, there's no way to get access to an AT&T SIM
