I just purchased the Motorola Bluetooth Stereo Active Headphones S9 and I've been trying to pair it will by 32GB 3g ipod Touch for sometime now.

The problem I'm having is that my ipod will not even detect the presence of the headphones when searching for bluetooth devices. So far the wheel just continues to spin as it has not found any of my bluetooth devices.

My ipod is running the 3.1.3 firmware and is jailbroken if that helps.

On Apple's support site (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647) they list the ipod Touch 2G is having compatibility with AVRCP and A2DP.

The manual for the headphones says that my device should support the following: AVRCP, A2DP and HFP.

Since the ipod shouldn't support HFP should I be able to connect to the headphones and just not use these features or is this preventing the ipod from connecting at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
