3G iPhone Jailbreak Q?

    Got new 16Gb 3G iPhone today.

    I take it I'm stuffed?

    Model: MB500
    OS: 3.1.3
    Bootloader: 5.9
    Baseband: 05.12.01
    Part No: MR16GW3U

    Don't need it unlocked as my O2 sim works just fine, any hope of a Jailbreak guys??

    Yea you can jailbreak with np just get blackra1n and it will be as easy as gettin mugga

    The jailbreak won't be done via blackra1n.

    You need to download a 3.1.2 firmware, get the latest redsn0w then you point it to the iPhone 3G 3.1.2 firmware and it'll jailbreak your 3.1.3 firmware currently on the iPhone.

    Basically your tricking RedSn0w into thinking your on 3.1.2.

    Stanley.. i have tried the redsn0w method with an ipod touch 64gb mc model but it never reboots...I am ok with tethered jailbreak. any ideas?

    what gen is MB iphone models? my model number starts with MB How after jailbreaking mines, it can turn off and on and i dont have to reboot it. Is it untethered?

    I'm pretty sure MC can't be jailbroken... Tethered anyway.

    If it is, then you need to re-run the program, and chosing the "already pwned" option this time!
