An marketing image of the 3G iPhone shows it loading what appears to be a Flash webpage, according to an iPhoneAtlas report.

One of their observant readers has noticed that a marketing image of the 3G iPhone shows Safari rendering The Lonely Planet website. On this site is a map which under flash renders with different color variations. Without Flash this map renders as solid color image.

Take a look at the screenshots below for comparison

    Nice find.

I doubt Apple would implement Flash without telling anyone though, it would gather more hype about the new 3G iPhone coming out.
No one should get their hopes up, but it would be a nice addition if it were true.

I hope this is true. Flash would be nice for videos and sites instead of having to use video converters like videohamster.

its probably just another apple fluke.
A while back apple had a picture of the itouch with a bluetooth symbol on the status bar...
Maybe they'll include flash activate bluetooth it in 2.0? NOT.

Nice find but doesn't Apple prohibit any third party application from running in the background? This would completely render the idea of flash, useless, because the idea of it running as a stand alone application is quite the uproar.

Apple might have to make some exceptions, which I doubt, but you never know.

    It's Apple

I actually have an idea on this!

The image of the website in the iPod.... Who said it was originaly taken from the iPod! I say its a computer screenshot + photoshop. The quality would of been bad if It were just a screenshot.

    Apple. You FAILED!
