    3G iPhone: Downgrade to Jailbreak?

Hey guys. This is me, hakk79.

Well as of late, I have been browsing the forums alot and since it is June, alot of 3G iPhone and Appstore/2.0 Firmware hype has started to mount.

What I have been noticing though are threads in which people say that they are scared to buy the 3G iPhone because they might not be able to Jailbreak it. Well, I just have a simple question.

Has anyone ever considered the fact, that you may be able to downgrade the 3G iPhone, at which point when you get it to a 1.1.X firmware, you can just jailbreak from there?

I am not sure if I am wrong, but I am just posting this thread to ask/confirm my idea.

P.S. That is a fake image of the 3G iPhone

maybe the unlocking wont be the same but i can bet that the jailbreak will be
so no problems downgrading as well

). But it seems like the 2.0 firmware is going to be the same on the 3G iPhone, as on the 2.5G iPhone, due to the latest screen shots.

Wait, so what exactly is getting upgraded with the 3G phone?

I'm unfamiliar with this phone stuff, I only have a touch. the only thing I know is that 3G means the 3rd generation in cell phone technology... Right?

It wil lalso have a new data feature that will make you get data faster but will also drain your battery (You can switch it on and off). Lastly, it will be released on the 2.0 platform.

3G is AT&T's high-speed data network. The current iPhone runs on AT&T's EDGE network, which is pretty slow. The 3G iPhone's wireless capabilities will be much faster.

But I'm still getting the iPhone when it is released.

Though I might wait a week a or two after it's released.

Wait for the crowd to die down.

u probably won;t be able to downgrade the 3g iPhone cuz it would never have been in firmware 1.1.X it will probably start of in 2.0 but i am 99.9% sure that they will come out with a jailbreak.
Don't worry they will find a way!
