    I'd still rather use the iPhone for data only at about $30 a month though.

    watch a year from now or when the iphone comes out, it will be much cheaper and the plans as well. they just want you to rush because its a grand thing, and thats how they make their money. for people who have patiance it will be worth it thats for sure

    you mean all of the people who were patient enough to screw the 1st gen iphone and wait for the 3g.
    Tech is going to evolve every year. you just gotta take the plunge somewhere. its like buying a car
    you can buy a 2008 car with some cool features and maby in 2009 it gets gps, double gas milage, and other goodies. stuff gets better every year. how about we just all wait like 20 years for the iphone to have EVERYTHing. lets do that.
