3G compatible?

    is this new ipod able to get on the 3G network? or is it only able to access the internet through a wireless connection?

    I highly doubt that it's 3G compatible. It wasn't specified anywhere... and it certainly would have been if it was.

    No. It is not.
    The iPod touch won't ever have 3G, either.

    If you added 3g to this version of the iPod Touch, it would pretty much be an iPhone (since you can use a texting app and a voip app for calls and texts)
