So I decided i am going to do some case mods on my 360. But thats not what this is about. I want to know if it is possible to flash my 360 or whatever it is called so i can use my backed up games. I am on the newest update, NXE and i'm not sure what drive I have. If someone told me how to check the drive I can do that tomorrow. Anyone know?

Yeah, I'm not near my xbox right now. So I'm going to figure that out tomorrow. Is it possible to mod it if it is on the NXE firmware?

From memory I think I have the BenQ. It looks like mine. Hopefully I am right.

it doesnt matter what firmware you are on. Also make sure it's a grey wire, cause if it's yellow, you're out of luck.

Ok, and I can play backups if I disconnect from live. And play on live with the originals still right? Or is that a no go? And if so, anyway to do both?

you can play on live with backups and originals, there is no way to know unless you are playing a leaked beta you found on bit******* on live, then M$ knows.

Hmmm... This pleases me. Seems like it will be worth the 23 bucks to get the SATA card on newegg. Thanks for your help.
