    Hello everyone,

In Australia, Ipt4g's are much more exspensive than in the U.S. The Ipt4g 32gb costs A$378 ($367 U.S.) and the Ipt4g 64gb costs A$499 ($485 U.S.). So you can see that in Australia it is a RIP OFF! But, my mum works at Myer and gets 15% off any product at Myer she buys, and yes they do sell the Ipt4g's at Myer. So i can get a 32gb for A$321 ($312 U.S.) and the 64gb for A$424 ($412 U.S.). I dont know wich one I should get, I will be buying a screen protector, case, wall charger and car charger for which ever one I will buy but I also need money to buy apps and stuff

. Its a really hard descission. I will probually have 300 songs, heaps of gaming apps and useful apps, a few of the latest movies then i will delete some and get new ones (maybe 10 movies at a time max!), a few camera video's and stills, maybe one tv series like futerama and some themes and pictures off the computer (not many like 5-10 themes and 20-50 pictures). Please let me know what you think, lots of answers will help me out lots! Remember to vote on the poll!

    Thanks in advance

I think 32gb would be enough for you, but I would personally go for the 64gb because I like to get the most that I can get. Plus it's double so you can fit even more music, games, apps, movies and TV series on it if you need to.

You don't need more than 32, in fact with your requirements even an 8 might do though it's always better to take the bigger one and not fill it than lack space.

hey man...first of if the prices u mentioned after the discount are final ( no additional tax)
then u get a good price because in the us u pay extra tax of ~10% which adds up to ur price (after discount)..so u get a good deal

Where did you get $10 from? The 64gb iPod Touch 4G in Australia is $485 and in the US it's $400, that's a good $85 lol.

    300 songs x 10mb = 3gb (assuming you don't do lossless so say 320 kbps)
10 movies x 700mb = 7gb (and most movies in ipod format aren't even 700mb this is just worst case scenerio)

I think 32 will be more than enogh for you. But if you plan on using the ipod for more than few years without buying new generation when it comes out, then i say go for the 64gb

32 is more than enough, of course this is coming from someone who has an 8gig. And an 8gig is even enough for me! I couldn't imagine even having a 64. More room than I'd know what to do with. I have 5.5 gigs left on my 8 gig. I also plan on selling this in the future, for the newer gens when they come out, by then I'll probably get a 32.

32GB is enough, I think 64GB is overkill unless you got like 10000 songs..
