ok so I have an iPod touch and today I bought an iPod Nano 2g from my friend for 20$ just for the heck of it lol..

But anyways u know how the old/classic 30-Pinconnector things used to be where u insert it and then u have to push the side buttons to let it out so u dont dissconnect wrong or something?, and how the new ones, like my ipod touch for example only need to push in and push out simple as that.

Well ive been using the newer pin connector oon the iPod Nano, and it is reallyy hard to push it inside and outside of the dock thing..... I have a feeling if i keep doing this one of the pins will break or something but is this alrigth for the ipod? or shud I get the old ones where i have to push the side things?..

please be patient. dont double post. the nano should be fine with the new cable. if your that worried about it, buy an old one off ebay or the pawnshop or somethin. i found an ipod cable at the thrift store for a dollar. im pretty sure the buttons on the side were just so it didnt fall out during sync.

Thats exactly what the buttons did. Other then that, they served no purpose. Your not going to do any damage to the Nano using the newer cable.
