Last night I was happily playing on my touch, and then I noticed what I thought was a hair (and now I wish it was) so I locked my ipod and then started wiping the screen with that black cloth you get with it. I then noticed that it wasn't a hair, it was a huge scratch. What are the best method(s) to make them not visible - without using any specialised products?

    Thanks, Alex

    scratch on the screen??
    tats impossible
it could be a hard stain...ive had it before it looks lyk a scratch but its not...if i were u:
    1. try using the cloth and scratch hard..lyk real hard
2.if it dont work, use a lens cleaner liquid and wipe it off

its reli reli reli reli hard to get a scratch on the screen, keys, nails, knives, none of them did the trick to get a scratch on the screen

    It it not impossible.
My first iPod Touch i was at a freinds house and it fell out of my hand and into a glass, that was thankfully empty, and i got a scratch on it.
The other ones came when i was sanding down the back of the iPod to give it the brushed metal look, and i flipped it over and there were scratches on the screen.
I never could get rid of them.

It's definately possible to get scratches on your iPod Touch. I got one within the first week.

I have added a pic. The red lines represent my scratches.
