Hi there. I seached this forum but found nothing, jus bla-bla-bla... Please tell anyone why some 3-d party chargers charge iPod 2g and some don't. Electricity is electricity, i mean that it doesn't have to matter if I am using Apples charger with OUT:5v, 500mA or the same 3-d party, am i right? And how can iPod know that charger is not Apples and show message about that. Whet i connect to my charger it does nothing(even no message, but charger is not broken).

As long as a 3-d (sic) party charger outputs 5V & 500mA over USB, it should power/charge any USB device.
