I have just done the Jailbreaker 2.2 and I now have 3.94GB of other memory that's appeared?

Does anyone know how to free this?

    Any help is welcome.

    Thanks,

    Ben

That's a good way to get infracted.
Is it possible you set the root size for the jailbreak to that size ?
Or do you have apps on it , or jailbroken apps ?
Or music , or anything ?

Yeah it will, thats the only downside. As far as I know thats the only way to remove all the "other".

Yeah , it also removes everything else.
    And starts him fresh.
    Which isn't good.

Actually you do NOT have to restore. Go into settings the general, then reset, then select erase all content and settings.

Back when my ipod did this back on 2.0 I did that and it fixed it, because what had cause it was that the music archive had been moved or renamed. Im not sure if it will have any adverse affects, it didnt when I did it on 2.0 but my ipod was not jailbroke at the time either.

Try this and if it dont work or breaks you jailbreak apps then I advise your restore.
