Nope, but if you have an 8gb model, you can downgrade to 3.1.2. Otherwise, you're stuck on 3.1.3 for now.

You might want to try Sn0wbreeze. It's meant to be able to jailbreak an iPod Touch 2G on 3.1.3. I have an iPod Touch 3G 3.1.3 and would wish that there was a jailbreak. I'll have to wait. I appriciate the efforts of the dev-team and chronic-devs etc. Hopefully there will be a solution!

I haven't actually used sn0breeze before, so I don't know. I just saw it and found out that it is capable so I thought it might be of use. I have tried blackra1n and redsn0w but they didn't work. Is there a way to have a tethered jailbreak on my iPod touch 3g 3.1.3?

Hi. There isn't an iPod touch 3g that's 8gb. I think you are refering to the 2g. If you are thinking about jailbreaking, downgrading won't help. Apple
have updated the firmware to be jailbreak proof. But, I
suppose you could give downgrading a go.

    1
Goto removed and download the appropriate firmware.

    2
put your device in DFU mode (search the forum, you'll find out how to do it)

    3
connect your device and go to iTunes.

    4
if you have a windows machine, click shift and press restore together. On mac, click option instead of shirlft.

    5
point it to the file you downloaded and let it downgrade.

    Hope this help
