3.1.2 3rd gen

    I have just discovered my ipt is a 3.1.2. i can figure out how to jailbreak, but do i need to still back up my shsh sigs? and any tips for the jb?

    Its good for you if you backup them but afaik saurik is only accepting 3.1.3 now, so you can use umbrella(there is a tutorial in the forum) For the jailbreak, you can use both blackra1n or redsn0w, they say blackra1n is faster, redsn0w is more stable(I didnt used them, that's just what people say)

    redns0w installs cydia for you, boot logos, and verbose mode, and much stable, both are tethered for MC's
