3.0 - Where is my IPSW?

    This morning i payed for and downloaded 3.0... But, after looking through the iTunes folder located in music, (running Windows Vista), i can't find my IPSW at all.

    So where does it save it?

    C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates

    Its a hidden folder in Documents called AppData.

    1. I payed for it, i want to know where it is.
    2. I don't want to update yet either.

    Looking in the AppData folders, but i dont see it 0_o the apple folder is emty

    are you viewing hidden folders? because it is hidden

    Yea, im looking in hidden folders
    (Vista BTW)


    i found it
    C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates

    C:\Documents and Settings\"INSERT COMPUTER NAME HERE"\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates

    So basically go start then click "Run" then copy and paste that in and click ok. Make sure to insert the name you have with that profile account etc.

    this is Windows XP Professional
