    Thats sweet even thought im already on 3.1.2 but maybe this is a lead to 4.0?

    I hope so... iPhone OS needs something new and big... Like a new UI.

    I got it for free from iTunes the day it came out. I was all set to pay and all that, and it just downloaded and installed. So I went app shopping instead.

    I also guess that this decides on whether or not I stick with a 3.0 release for my apps or not. There was still a small margin of "holdouts" on 2.2.1 last time I checked data on it, but this should surely get them all to upgrade.

    Same here, I bought it with a leaked iTunes link the night before, then waited for the next day to download. A few weeks later I got an email from Apple saying they've refunded the account due to 'an iTunes store error'. ^_^

    Can anyone confirm this is working. I just checked Apple's website and it still shows it's $4.95 to upgrade... If its true then I'll front page it and it will probably create a shift in policy on allowing firmware links on forum.
