I'm not sure that there is any other forum more appropriate to post this other than this one, so i'll just ask here. When opening any application, it sometimes fails to open a few times, and then randomly starts working. Also, bringing up the keyboard sometimes causes the iPod to freeze, as well as bring up the view controller for selecting music from the iPod library.

Has anyone else experienced these problems too, or is it just my iPod

Yes, I am a legitimate paid developer, so don't ask or flame.

Only issue so far was a bit of a freeze in visual voicemail.

I haven't had any freezing so far, can you get out of a contact page by anychance, the top bar is missing when you tap a contacts name and the page comes up

It's there for me, if you're talking about what I think you are. Also, why does it (for iPod 2G) have a text message option at the bottom of the contact page? Maybe they forgot to take that out for the first beta

The biggest issue I encountered was the lack of Wifi. That is a big part of the reason why I downgraded to 2.2.1. Aside from that, I have had no random freezes, but that is mostly because without Wifi or cell service (I don't get cell service at my house), my phone had been rendered mostly useless.

Although, there are lots of other little bugs I can't mention. And I hate the new Messages and Phone icon. The new Stocks icon looks nice.

I've been experiencing the lack of wifi also, so therefore, I downgraded to 2.2.1.

Meh, what did you expect, they just did a beta release.

I've also felt that memory usage is much higher with the integration of the search utility...

I've had the exact same problems. The beta is pretty buggy for me.

That's exactly what's happening to me; WiFi is not working properly; it drops after I go on sleep mode.

And the new Stocks icon does look quite nice, and I especially like landscape stocks.

umm, thats why its a beta. it has bugs.

i dont have any problems with it so far, but the only thing i can advise is to reboot your device.

Haven't had too many freezes, just a few.

Main bugs for me have been the WiFi issue, though it sometimes seems to be working when the icon isn't showing, and sometime it works just fine.

Biggest bug that I've been experiencing is Safari failing to go into landscape.
