3.0 dfu mode

    hi i was on 3.0 firmware and i restarted my ipod and when i turned it back on it went to the recovery mode screen so now im trying to put in dfu mode but windows says i need to install a driver

    Those drivers should install automatically.

    Does it say what driver you need to install?

    Apple DFU drivers are uPnP. Shouldn't need to install anything. Replug.

    Reinstall of itunes should do the trick

    The Apple DFU drivers are installed with iTunes. So if you don't have it, then your iPod won't be able to connect properly.

    thxs guys i figured it out, all i neede was apple mobile device from itunes and it worked
