According to TUAW the 3.0.1 update has come out.

This fixes the SMS vulnerability, so fire up iTunes.

Obviously it is iPhone only. It fixes the SMS vulnerability.

Well us developers were given a new beta (3) a few days ago, so I'd say give it a few weeks for public release.

I really wish Apple would stop ignoring iPod users. Seriously, look at 3.0! The whole freaking update was for iPhones, and all they do is add Copy and Paste to iPod in order to make people pay $10 for some retarded, featureless update. And now they make a new update ONLY for iPhones. I'm feeling really left out.

It's ONLY for iPhone, because it's only needed for iPhone.

    It fixes the SMS vulnerability.

Next time think before you post.

Also, don't start the whole "We had to pay" argument. We pay monthly for our phones.

THIS UPDATE IS NOT A MAJOR UPDATE

IT ONLY FIXES THE SMS EXPLOIT!

iPod Touch users DO NOT have an sms exploit. SO DO NOT NEED THE UPDATE!
