I'm about a week and a half into owning a 1g 32gb touch and was thinking about returning it and getting the 2g. I've been reading alot today on the forums about the battery problems. I'd like to know if everyone here who has the 2g is having the same problem. If so, I don't think I'm going to get it. Mine works perfectly.

I've talked to a few posters here whom have all said their batteries are only lasting like 1.5-3 hours with wi-fi and music going. I have played games with my wi-fi on and with music blaring away with screen brightness at the middle and I get a minimum of 5 hours. Now thats a pretty significant difference and was just wondering if any other 2g owners have noticed the same.

Almost all said 2g. Mabey they just got the first releases with bad batteries. Could be a coincidence. I'm just a little concerned for I don't want to turn a perfectly good touch in to get one thats screwed up and have to get a refurbed 2g.

My battery is lasting about 2 hours(wifi and apps) on the 2G iPod Touch 8GB.

I'll call Apple when the newness of it wears off

. I'll do it soon enough so they're aren't any refurbs.
