I'd say restore, but that's just me.

You are stuck at Infinite Loop. DFU + Restore.

If you really want a way out. Download QuickPWN 2.2

When you open it up, it will say that you're device needs to be refreshed. (hopefully)

Follow the instructions on the little pop up window and your iPod will start up normally.

It might not seem like the little window is doing much but keep it open. (trust me it works)

    Lemme Know How It Works.

    PS -

Its just a thought. DFU + Restore will work all the time.
iPods can never really be "bricked".

    ..?
Quickpwn and a iPod Touch 2G? = Not true.
    And I don't trust [PIRACY.mu] links.
    Just DFU+Restore.

    Restore it dude!
This is also a reason why i don't jailbreak anymore, my iPod is getting slow, and getting stuck all THE time!
So if you want to enjoy your iPod for long!, don't jailbreak it
