I have a 2nd gen 32gb touch that I've had since launch day. It's had random reboots for the last 6 months or so but only when connected to something (charger, pc, or car stereo). Well, today I went to open an app and it crashed. It acted like power failure. the lcd just turned off and the image faded. It instantly started rebooting but has been stuck on the logo for 45min. It's taken up to 15 to reboot after a crash before, but never this long. Any idea what it could be?

(it is jailbroken and I don't really remember what software version it's on)

plugged it into power and watched it. It appears to be crashing about every 15 min. Is there any chance a bad battery could cause this behavior?

EDIT 2: Well, I did a restore to 2.1 or whatever from DFU. It restored, restarted and is now sitting on the boot logo indefinitely just like before.

Do you think I have a brick?
