    my question is...

    is there something that apple did to the 2g iphones that would only allow a certain number of computers that you can setup itunes for with a single phone?

    let me clarify....

    person 1 - buys iphone 2g, sets up itunes and activates the iphone. person 1 then sells the phone to person 2.

    person 2 - uses pwnage to JB the iphone, uses itunes with this phone. person 2 then sells to person 3

    person 3 - inserts sim to phone, hooks up to itunes. now decides to sell the iphone....

    how long can this continue? is there any restriction about this????

    need to know, i will be getting a used 2g this weekend.

    iTunes will say that this iPhone is synced to another computer. It'll tell you to either erase all content on the iPhone (apps, music, contacts, etc...) and to start it new, or cancel. If it has a passcode, it will not let you sync until the passcode is removed.
