Okay, when redsn0w (or whatever they are using to jailbreak the 2G) comes out, will anybody wait for a while until a newer and safer version comes out or just use their first one. Because i thought that the first one might have some bugs or whatever but a newer version (if they make one after) might be safer?

    Thanks

The people who know what they're doing (have jailbroken before) as well as the REALLY eager newcomers to jailbreak will go first. I'm guessing half will have problems, and there will be a huge overload of whining threads of people who don't know what to do next. The rest will wait and have virtually no problems.

    Just a guess

as i remember it there wernt that many problems with quickpwn and winpwn the programs i have used to jailbreak and i used both as soon as they came out so i will probably do the same with redsn0w i don't think the dev team will release it if they have any thoughts that it would brick someones ipod.

Yes, but i disagree on the last part because its not just about bugs in the jailbreak which there might be, some newcomers who are excited and keen to jailbreak might not do it right and screw up their ipod and not no how to restore it.
