ok so they made the ipod touch enabled with the 3g network too now...

so my question is if i get a 2g itouch and i am not with AT&T (meaning i pay no bills to them) would i still be able to access the 3g network with my i-touch?

(i mainly want it for the rachel maddows show because my new cable provider doesnt carry MSNBC lol)

    thanx guys!

    What are you talking about?

You cannot access any 3G networks from your touch. Ever. Even if you have a wireless provider, like AT&T, the iPod Touch is physically incapable of accessing 3G networks.

No, only the iPhone 3G can access 3G networks. The iPod touch doesn't have a SIM card slot or GSM.

3g networks are for iphones only, you can only access wifi with the ipod touch.

    3G is cell phone technology.

WiFI is, basically, technology for internet stuff, which includes VoIP. If you "google" VoIP you may find free VoIP to quite a few countries overseas. VoIP is "internet telephone". Of course, internet includes lots of stuff.

    What do you want?
