As i was owning in tap tap revenge online, my ipod touch 2g unfortunatly froze, and as i was restarting it i somehow managed to get it into DFU mode by mistake... thing is tho is that the screen is black, i cannot turn it on, and when i plug it into the computer, it is still black and itunes give me this error:
" Software for this iPod is not currently available. Make sure you have the latest version of itunes and try again. "
gave me the same error before i updated to the new itunes aswell.
    its running 2.1.1... any idea's?

    for future reference upon request,
I had to plug my ipod into a wall charger and do the steps to put it manually into DFU mode, and then when it was in DFU mode i restarted the ipod and it went back to normal and was recognized my pc again.
