Did you maybe enable no docked and undocked labels in winterboard... or apply some theme?

    Supreme Preferences

Did you install or upgrade supreme preferences?
either iPhone or iTouch version(God! I hate that name, why did you have to do that iMario?)

I heard that maintainer did not properly upload the package and is there fore causing problems.

    Wait for an update.

There should be two settings in Supreme Preferences (Hide Icon Labels and Prevent App Deletion) that you can play around with (assuming you're using 2.0). I had the same problem as you originally and was able to fix it by messing around with these settings.

I didn't do that, the maintainer did. And he had a good reason for it. Supreme Preferences iPod touch doesn't fit. I know it's an iPod touch and not an iTouch, but whatever, big deal....

And yes this is a tiny little bug, because Hide Icon Labels and Prevent App Deletion are enabled by default. Supreme Preferences 2.1 is underway (for iPhone). Supreme Preferences for iPod touch will be next.
