What's the point of having a 24 inch display out of a 20 inch iMac.

Not true at all. The older iMacs have a DVI out, the newer iMac's (with NVIDIA graphics) have MiniDisplayPort out.

Your iMac has DVI out, and Apple sells a neat little adaptor for you. Check their website.

I have a 24" LED Cinema Display, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Aesthetically, and of course, the color is phenomenal. The whole "glossy-glare" thing is only really noticeable if you have a window behind you, so keep that in mind.

It will put your iMac's LCD to shame.

Instead of spending $900 on that monitor, you should look at another.

HP has a 23" 1080p monitor. The specs are the same.

Just an inch smaller and $700 cheaper.
