    Hi guys,
Firstly thanks for all the help I found searching the site, it persuaded me to get an ipod touch (I was an apple hate machine previously!!).

    Quick question.
I have my touch jailbreak'd, no problems there.
But I got my brother one aswell.
No he couldn't do diddlysquat with a computer so he want's me to do his too.

Question is: if I bring it back to 1.1.1 on my pc (my itunes obviously), will it let me? (i.e. set his ipod to use my itunes?) and if so, will it let him connect to his itunes when I finish? or will he be only able to use mine?

Hope that doesn't sound as complicated as I'm making it.

    Sound out

Its actually just to do the jailbreak (bring it back to 1.1.1)
He has his own Mac and itunes, I was just worried it would pair with my itunes and he wouldn't be able to use his own.

nope just downgrade to 1.1.1 on any computer

    jailbreak from jailbreakme.com

and connect to comp again to put music and videos on

    Yup, you'll have no problems.

If you plan on syncing with both of your computers though, you need a program called SwapTunes, as the iPod only lets you sync with one computer normally.
