the first question is: I've seen in some threads that in the top left hand corner of the ipod it has a different name instead of iPod. How do you do that, is it a sbsettings toggle?

the second question is: say if i download a theme from the computer and i want to put it onto my ipod, how do i do that?

Number one: I think you can use supreme preferences from Cydia

For number two: You'd need to SSH, search here for SSHing them to your device.

ok first question, you can use makeitmine off of cydia..

and second question: use ur SSH program and go to /library/themes

once in there you should see your themes.. basically everythink you can use winterboard for will be on there, then, if you downloaded a theme, find the folder that says
*theme-name*.theme and copy it into winterboard.. if you make custom themes, name it yourself with a .theme and then see if it is in winterboard.. if not do a respring then it definitley should be

Well first of all, on your device, you need to go into Cydia and search for "OpenSSH" and install that. Second, on your PC search google for WinSCP and install that.

make it mine is the least effective but most user friendly way to edit your carrier icon

make it mine limits you to text options last time i looked

the carrier icon is an image stored in >>>

    "/private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/Your Theme.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png AND FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png"

it's a .png so if you edit that pic you can put whatever you want, not just text

    play with this >>>
