Both questions are about the iPod Touch 2G. (I think one answer implies the other?)
    1) Is there another program than iTunes to put files on my iPod Touch? (iTunes runs way slower than the acceptable on my pc. [the new iTunes is even worse

    2) Can I put other apps than those found in iTunes on my iPod?

I don't know about your first question, but I do not believe it is possible to upload apps that aren't from iTunes onto a Touch without jailbreaking it (which isn't available to 2G users).

    1. Not that I know of.
    2. No. When it is jailbroken, yes.

Turned off a bunch of visual stuff and items in Limewire and it runs much smoother now. ^^, So 1 isn't really a problem anymore and I already guessed the answer to question 2 would be: "no, you need jb".
