I don't know if you are on mac. Cuz I'm a windows user. if you r on pc y not create a separate user account for ur son. If not use SHIFT + open iTunes then it will allow you to choose ur iTunes library or create new one. you can switch between 2 using Shift + open iTunes. if you're on a mac, hopefully someone else will help you.

Give him his own account on the PC, this'll allow that, and he'll be happier, he can do more with the PC itself too.

    Copy everything from iTunes
    Paste to Desktop
Plug in either USB Drive/CD either will work
    Go to my computer
Find the device (under removable storage)
Copy your music on the CD/USB Drive
Once Done put in your laptop once again, find the device select music then move into iTunes.

I think you would have been better off making a thread...

    But here's the answer:
-Navigate to your iTunes' music folder.
-Put all the music on a flash drive
    -Insert flash drive in laptop
-Move all the music to your Music folder
-Drag the music files that were moved into your computer into iTunes

Make sure you drag the files from your copied files into iTunes. NOT from the flash drive.

Or you could put everything on one ipod and then use Share pod to transfer it, if you don't have a USB drive. You would just have to sync with the laptop after all your music was on it.

Or there is always Home Sharing (built into iTunes). Just select your account and transfer. Unless, this is only for Mac...
