2.2 terminal error. question

    FATAL -> Failed to fork.

    what now??

    typed into terminal on 2.2 1g ipod touch,

    su
    alpine
    apt-get update

    any ideas what to do now?

    restart and then try again?

    Hmm... a fork error means that it can't make a new process...

    restarting should have cleared up the issue, if I remember correctly...

    Try:

    su root
    alpine
    apt-get update

    Superuser'ing Root should eliminate all issues. This little problem seems to be a permissions error.
