    Hi Guys
I just upgraded to 2.2 and the first thing I noticed, was that now my iPod Touch 2G conects to my home Wifi without any issues. On 2.1.1 this didnt work as well and I always had to connect like 10 times for Wifi to work. So now just tell me if u also are having the same experiences.

Same for me. I always had to connect to WiFi twice in order for it to register (try once, wait for about 6 seconds, turn off WiFi, turn on Wifi - magically connects). Problem gone with 2.2.

Not necessarily better signal, just fixed some bugs with the Wi-Fi chip.

Me too, wifi issues finally GONE! This is a huge relief. I actually returned my first one as I thought there was something wrong with the hardware the wifi was so flaky. I'm really pleased that my 2G now functions as well as the 1G does.

Fixed for me too. Happy about that. Now just give me the ability to search the calendar and also set an independent volume level for the morning alarm and I will be 100% satisfied!

This is really weird! i have a 2nd gen on f/w 2.1 (no, its not 2.1.1 so dont even start with the "you're wrong" trash talk.) and i never had any problems with my wifi. it has worked from the day i got it.

I always read about these people with this wifi issue, but i never had it :/ cant work that one out. lets hope i dont have th problem, but if i do, i know 2.2 will be my first stop for a fix
