I used the new Quickpwn and Cydia works perfect for me. I started by doing a fresh restore to 2.2 before starting.

I would suggest doing a restore and try again.

The only thing I have noticed with Cydia is it seems that some of the community sources are missing. For example there used to be OpenSSH located int the category Networking and it is not there now. Had to use Installer to get OpenSSH instead.

On the Home page Cydia starts up with, if you go to "Featured Packages" and then look under 'Console Utilities and Daemons', OpenSSH is there. However, BigBoss's server was down for a while yesterday morning, which may be why you didn't see the package available when you did your download.
