I've definately noticed an improved battery life on my 2g since installing 2.2

    Anyone else noticed?

Ohhh ya. I was able to watch 2 movies last night at 95% brightness without it dying, which before, it barely made it half-way through the second one before it was done.

Cool, maybe I'll have to upgrade then. It seems that 2.2 is better than I first realised. I may or may not upgrade, but I will definitely consider this.

I have an Ipod touch 1G and it seems to me that I got better battery life with 2.1. I am not really sure though.

Yeah, it must be better battery life.

I was starting to think that my iPod's battery meter was messed up, or it was a bug in the firmware to not show the real amount of power you have left

    Guess that's the real deal.

I haven't noticed it much. Then again, playing Tap Tap for two hours is the equivalent of watching 8 movies so..

Hey now, that line belongs to LG. The people who make Phones, TVs, Washers, Dryers, Fridges.... What the hell is up with that company...

Anyway, This is really good news. Finally gives me a reason to get an iPod Touch 2G... As soon as those new Apple in-ears come out.

I haven't noticed that. I'll obviously have to play my race game and scifly just to check that out.

I do find scifly crashing on me quite a lot but I just bought it so I don't know if that was normal pre update or not.
