    so i was on quickpwns website yesterday and i noticed that there was a 2.2.1 jailbreak, has any one confirmed it yet?

    Yes, there is a jailbreak for 2.2.1!
    I am jailbroken on a 2.2.1 firmware.

    okay so i tried to do it last night and gets to were the steps are and then it like freezes, could this be because my operating system is vista?

    The ones that tell you how to get it DFU mode or what?

    yeah like were it says hold down the home button for 5 seconds. it never stars that step

    So you get to the screen that tells you how to get in the DFU mode?

    no i do see that screen but it just says "wait for you ipod to connect in recovery mode" then under that it has the four steps, and then at the bottom "it says preparing your device-please follow instructions. so i am seeing this screen its just not doing anything and my ipod is in recovery mode.

    im not positive but when i downloaded it the logo changed from black and white to green and brown, so i think i am.

    The latest version is 2.2.5
    Check it.
