    Hey there,
I've a (noobish) question to ask: I own an iPod Touch (2G) with 2.2.1 firmware (jailbroken). Now, my intention is to upgrade the firmware to 3.0 (with jailbreak). My question is: am I able to do that without losing any data (apps, musics, videos)? If yes, what am I supposed to do?

    Thanks in advance.

every time you restore it, you have to lose everything, but itunes allows you to back it up, and then get all your stuff back, except for the jailbreak things, if you also want to back up your jailbreak stuff, search for "backup" in icy or cydia, and install it and follow the instructions

Thank you. Last question: where are backups stored at?

Do you mean iTunes backups or Jailbroken backups?
