    Does this update fix the issues of Wifi not connecting to the router/slow internet

    Slow wifi could be the cause of many things. It could be that your router is set to mixed (b+g mode) which would be painfully slow on some routers. If you know how to configure your router, check to see if mixed mode is on, and if it is, set it to b only.

    No. Set your router to g only. Thats faster and most universal.

    Now, if you change that from mixed to either one or the other, the other people using the locked out signal - well, they'll get locked out. You should leave it as mixed.

    Unless you're the only one - then 'g' is the way to go.

    Could having a mixing of bands be the cause of my wi-fi issues of not being able to connect? I have a D-Link B, G, draft-N router and I was only able to connect once for about a minute with one bar. I was still unable to get Safari to connect for that minute.
    I have it mixed because my Touch is the only non-draft-N card in the house, otherwise it would be strictly N.
