Are all of the apps for 2.0.x firmware compatible with 2.1 firmware, or will they all need to be ported?

The Woo Button doesn't sync on 2.1 for some reason. Its not really that important so it doesn't matter though

What's so funny about it? It was a big upgrade, and usually when that happens there's compatibility issues.

They have an entire App Store full of 3500 apps to worry about. I think devs would be pretty pissed having to port them all.

Apple won't make a big framework change for a long time.

I entirely forgot about the Appstore. At least that ensures that framework will stay the same for a long time...

yeah i think you're right... once all the 3rd party apps are ported, we're sorted for a long while. Apple just can't physically port all their apps over.. the sdk would have to change and everything.. apple aint changing how the firmware works for a long long time
