OK. This is simply an opion thread.

Right now im on 1.1.4 JB And I love It!

I am thinking about going 2.0 but i dont really understand the difference.

    2.0
    -app store
    -cydia
    -couple of bug fxes

    1.1.4
    -Total customization
    -super easy to ssh
-More apps that *bend the Rules*

I don't know. Help Me what should I get and why.

P.s. If i get 2.0 is there a way to-----Ssh all my apps off-----Then get 2.0 and jailbreak----Then SSh Apps back in??????.

P.P.s. Is there like a customize for 2.0?????

    *facepalm*

This entire thread fails. 2.0.x is so much better than 1.1.x on so many levels.

No, your 1.1.x apps will NOT work.

    Customize fails. It's called Winterboard

Last time I checked, SSH'ing is the same thing

    Also, 2.0.x is totally customizeable...

Jailbreaking is the point of bending the rules.... that's what most of the apps do. In fact, they mostly break rules.

Wow. Cydia isn't available for 1.1.x? Screw that. I love Cydia.

Gitykins, since this topic has come up like 5 times today in various threads, what exactly are the big advances in the 2.0.x firmware over the 1.1.x firmware? The appstore is given, but what else makes 2.0.x firmware so much better?

(I'm not trying to argue - I'm honestly curious, and a topic answering it could end a lot of the questions about the differeces!)

Cydia is on 1.1.x, but it's not as good as 2.0.x because it's less supported there.

There aren't so many bug fixes to list, but the features are numerous.

The few bug fixes that you wouldn't really notice just increase the overall stability of the firmware.

I mean, scientific calculator, push notification, Exchange capabilites, App Store, etc. It's also faster because apps can't run in the background, increasing battery life as well.

On the jailbroken side, you've got WinterBoard, widgets, Cydia, iSlsk coming, etc.

After seeing the list above, and all the jailbroken apps that are available on 2.0.x and not 1.1.x, I completely see why you would NEVER want to downgrade.

Thanks for the info Teslanaut and Gitykins!
