    i heard from steve jobs in the keynote from a while back that it will cost $ for the ipod touch but free for the iphone. what is your thought on it?

    It's just 10 dollars it's not like you're going to pay 20 like the other update.

    $10 for a truckload of amazing apps and an updated firmware. Is that so bad? I don't think so but I'm getting the new iphone anyway which includes the update.

    Sorry a little off topic but.
    Question:

    Can i start an iTunes account with and iTunes gift card or do i have to give a credit card number? Then $10 would be no big deal at all but my parents are kind of paranoid about buying anything off the internet.
