    I am using PwnageTool 2.0.1
Everything went all smooth until I tried restoring the custom firmware that I had made. PwnageTool said it successfully Pwned it and that I was able to restore to my custom firmware.

I go to iTunes and restore the custom firmware, now my iPod's been constantly rebooting and never loaded the Springboard.

It's been my third time trying to jailbreak 2.0 and I've been doing the process 3 times and it all ended with my iPod rebooting non-stop.

Any ideas how to avoid making iPod constantly rebooting?

Put your ipod into DFU mode before restoring

I followed the pwnage tool to a tee (2.1) and getting the same error.

And for the record, you can't continue to process without it being in DFU mode so I don't think that will fix it for us.

when it says have u pwned before, click no, and it will lead u into the DFU restore mode bit. follow the instructions, and Pwnage will safely DFU your iPod. then try. that worked for me

Make sure you follow pwnage's instructions for DFU, and do not accidentally send it to recovery mode, and also, I found simple mode to work better for me than expert mode...
