i updated and am in the process of downgrading again. I thought it was worth it to play with, but ultimately, it's better to have 1.1.2 or whatever and the jailbroken apps. Hopefully soon, we will be able to have both!

go get a custom 2.0 firmware.
i was on 1.1.4 jb and decided to upgrade and jailbreak.

it was definately worth it. many developers will hopefully start to port their apps to 2.0.

im sticking with my 1.1.2 for now. i didnt see any reason to go up to 1.1.4 and right now theres even less reason IMO to go to 2.0. of course, once everything that i can do now on 1.1.2 is available on 2.0 it will be a different story. but until then 1.1.2 FTW

PwnageTool 2.0 was released, so you can jailbreak Firmware 2.0 now. So, you can have jailbroken applications and the games from the App Store that you want. Although, there is a very small amount of jailbroken applications available for Firmware 2.0, so I would wait it out.

2.0 sucked without jailbreak. 2.0 sucks with jailbreak. Its slow, the apps are buggy, I could restore my iPod to 1.1.4 in the time it takes to bootup. Wait for 2.0.1.

There are a lot more bugs with 2.0, i've heard a lot of cases where sumerboard will not work, it doesn't work on 1.1.5 either. apparently 2.0 is really unstable right now?
