2.0 jailbreak supports 1.1.whatever apps now is this true?

    i saw a website it is here>http://gizmodo.com/366751/iphone-20-unlocked-runs-all-apps
    it says that 2.0 is unlocked and runs all apps! is this true? i have windows so i don't have pwnage!
    That is from the website i posted is it true?

    That article is OOLLDDD. 2.0 does not run all 1.1.x apps whatsoever.

    This is referring to patching SpringBoard. SpringBoard would auto-quit any "non-official" task that was being run, so they patched it.

    I have been googling around for like an hour now for said patch and ether my google skills are a bit rusty or said patch does not exist.

    That was 1.2.0. 1.2.0 was the first beta (with itunes and app store) and it didn't have updated frameworks + otherstuff. So you could jailbreak the same way and use the 1.1.X apps.
